Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana – Gramin (PMAY-G)

The Pradhan Mantri Awaas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G) is one of the flagship programmes of the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India which aims to provide housing for the rural poor in India. The scheme, launched in 2016, aims at providing pucca houses with basic amenities to all houseless and vulnerable households by 2022. 

After completion of this course, the participants will be able to understand: 

  1. About the PMAY-G: the rural housing programme in India. 
  2. Various processes such as the selection process of beneficiaries, monetary assistance and technical assistance such as training and design typologies, etc., are involved in the programme. 
  3. Understand various governance and monitoring systems such as AwaasSoft, Social Audit and other modules used in PMAY-G for effective implementation and management of the programme.
