Course Description: The Panchayats as third government handle large sums of money, which are mostly received from  taxes and grant-in-aid. These funds  are  utilized  in accordance with detailed policies and procedures. Managing Panchayat finances  is a “live”   process  that establish the link between resources and results   through budgeting and accounting. Proper management of public funds  required  regular systematic collection, analysis, and reporting of financial  data.
